On the Supplement Shelf: SPIRULINA

For my shelf, incredibly nutrient dense spirulina Is the featured supplement for my summer season, especially because it’s connected with the ocean. This blue green algae is one of the healthiest foods around, abundant with minerals, protein and the omegas. Because of this it’s often listed as a longevity supplement. Pictured above: I combined lemon water with the spirulina + coconut water special edition GT’s kombucha called Sacred Life plus another powdered spirulina I have on hand — a satisfying, satiating evening mocktail with a rich color.
